Ok, so I dont know if anybody would be interested in this but I was thinking about putting together a "committee" to help organize quarterly HFB Benefits. I probably need about 5 people or so to help me out with this task. There will be 4 benefits a year, each one will attempt to raise as much money as possible to help keep our wonderful site running. I thought we could get different people to host each event. We could have mini auctions, sell plates of food and have raffles with all the proceeds going to the HFB. We did this once before at HAW at it was a success. Lots of people came out, enjoyed some BBQ and got to know one another. If you want to help me out with this, PM or reply to the thread so we can get the first HFB Benefit of 2010 under way.

FrontasaurusRex - The GHAC event on March 13th is at my house.
We can do whatever to get funds for the HFB - from simply setting up a donation jar to grilling to bringing fish to auction offspecifically for the HFB.Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
