It felt like my heart dropped when I heard this on the radio when I was leaving work, because my wife's brother and brother-in-law are based in Killeen/Ft. Hood. She talked with her sister in Killeen and they were ok. Her brother said he was only a couple hundred feet away. Sad to hear that many have lost their lives. The couple times I have been to Killeen, the people were generous, so I know they will come close together.Comment

Majors and Chaplains, OPS Sergeant Majors and Brigadier Generals -- I will leave the remainder of the post out but I believe from reading this, it refers to whom died at the shooters hands. Only in the days to come will we see what else will come from this.
I feel so bad for all of these people.

One of my very best friends in this world, dad works at Ft.Hood and man this really hits home, when your best friend is so upset...all he can do is tell you call me later, I got to find out if my dad is ok, and anyone I know there.
I also have 2 friends stationed there, that this...just sucks to even know that 3 guys went on a rampage for whatever reason and just started blasting people.
This so makes me mad, it reminds me of 911 when all I could think of is why...all those people that died where just going to work. I mean the Pentagon was alteast a goverment building...all the others and those on the plane...pure innocents...

My aunt is a teacher and her school is on Ft. Hood they had the whole school on lock down until 9pm last night. Some of the teachers said they could hear the gun shots and one of the suspects was arrested near the school.Comment
