I like Glocks.. just cannot shoot them for anything. Recommendation is to replace the std 5.5 lbs trigger with the 3.5 lbs trigger.. it helps a ton.
My 226 and 220 are both modded by someone whom I trust very well. the 226 has prolly one of the best trigger jobs anyone has ever tried out for a P frame gun. Considered by many who have shot it on par with some of the world best gun smiths out there. I love mine. Has a 3.2 lbs trigger, short trigger, but not a short reset which is the only thing I would like to add to it one of these days. That mod will only come when ammo is cheaper. No need to just go lose on ammo these days.

Bored, yes my Glock was modded, it was sold to fund my fish keeping hobby. Why do you mod AR15s?Originally posted by myjohnson View PostDo you have yours modded?
Why did you mod it?

They are perfect out the box, they feed all ammo, known to be as tough as a Sig. By your theory, you could say Les Baer makes poor 1911, and anyone who knows 1911s knows that's not the case at all, people mod all types of high end 1911s.Originally posted by myjohnson View PostGlocks are way hyped. I understand why some people like them cause they have a lot of after market parts.....but it says a lot about a gun when you have to change it and it's not perfect out the box.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking on HK, but they make some pricey guns for being polymer. And I have shot several myself, to me they seem a bit bulking. And I have small hands also. I've owned and shot both, hell I have a USP .40 in front me right now. They are good guns, but not my cup of tea. 5lb-6lb trigger and too much travel.
I had a Glock 17 with work done to it by the local also well known ak/glocksmith and it's one of the best guns I've ever shot.Last edited by aggrofishkeeper; 11-06-2009, 12:20 AM.

Aggro -- I have shot both the HK USP 9mm and the HK USP Compact 9mm. I have shot several Glocks, but because the angle of the grip on the Glock's I shoot much more comfitable the HK's. Glocks work well for someone with a large hand. I have a small hand and this causes much of a problem shooting the Glock's. This put me personally wanting a HK over a Glock.
Keep smiling :)

I used Glock as a comparison. They are both polymer guns, but I rather get a Glock because they are much cheaper and shoot as accurate as a HK USP.Originally posted by myjohnson View PostGlocks aren't like plastic guns?

They're good if you like plastic guns. Give me a Glock, I'll have the same accuracy, reliability, and history for half the price.Originally posted by myjohnson View PostWhere are all the H&K gun owners at?
