Need to borrow filters...

Okay... I'm helping out a friend with a leaky tank. Long story short.... I'm going to be housing saltwater in 215 for a week or so and the filtration can't be transferred (but the media can). Does anyone have some filters (HOB, canister, wet/dry) that I can borrow for a week. I'll give you the filter back at the end of the week and probably a little something extra for your trouble. I only had an extra 2217 and 2 MJ1200s...

Also any thought would be helpful, since I've stayed away from the salty side of things for the past decade...

if it's just for a week I have a marineland 350 and an aquatec 20-40 you can use

its saltwater, so you need room for biological filtration more than anything, since its not long term, i wouldnt go with bioballs, except for the one that comes with the bio-media you were talking about. just add alot of live rock for the bacteria to spread with the bio-load. doing that is the best for a one week quarratine.

Y'all are great! I've had three canister filters and a couple HOBs dropped off at my place. numerous people have PMed me volunteering to help. This is what the box is all about as far as I'm concerned - helping each other out.
