A fan has every right to be upset with the product the team puts on the field but IMO people are attacking the wrong things when I see or hear Houston fans on the radio talk about the hometown team or even on here. I will be the first to talk mess about UT, Cowboys, or Spurs when they dont produce. I will stop and let you guys kill your team. I like the Texans and hate to hear some of the things people are saying

I can easily type Vick is garbage because he is. I think VY was a better QB than Vick VY had better stats coming out of college than Vick. Tennessee isnt giving him a fair shot and I cant wait till VY gets out of Tennessee or the team sucks this year and they finally realize Collins is garbage. I wasnt comparing Vick to Steve McNair I was saying Bob McNair the owner was smart for not picking up that scum bag Vick. Speaking of off the field issues Vick is a moron. Steve McNair is a better QB in every sense of the word compared to Vick.

For your fingers to type Vick is garbage is amazing. And you cant honestly compare Vick to McNair. To different type of systems and coaching styles. But Vick was a leader and the Falcons followed behind him until a few incidents (not the dogs).

But with what the Texans have with Andre Johnson and Slanton....Vick would fit right in. You go from a single threat (either Slanton or Johnson) to a triple threat with a running qb that can throw the long ball and a good quality half back that can run the ends and middle.

+1, Vick would had been a good pick up for us...at that price too.

Not true. I like some teams that are not the Texans. I love the titans cause they were the oilers.

Oilers were my team. When they left and became the titans they was still my team.

I'm still a fan of the titans just not when they go against my HOME team.

I just don't understand people that hate their own hometown team. That bugs me.

Finally, I think that a fan has every right to call it like they see it. If their team is doing bad they got the right to say why and what they think. I do that all the time. But on Sundays I still got all the hope in the world my team is going to win.

Vick is garbage IMO. McNair did a good job and didnt change the way he runs this team as a team of stand up guys who have Good character. Even when Vick was with the Falcons he only had a 54% completion his INT's were almost as much as his TDs every year and his QB rating was only 76 or so. Matts 2 years as a starter averages 66% completion his INTs and TDs are close to each other but its only 2 years. and his QB rating is 90. All of the Schaub haters are out of your mind the only thing wrong with Schaub is injuries. Other than that he helped make the Texans the #3 offense last year.

Defense was tough in the first half, but they quickly feel apart...too many of them did not play in pre-season...

Dude the entire offense looked like total crap. It was horrible out there, that slaton fumble was the cu'de'gras...lol...sp...

I agree. But it's one game. We got time. The defense did look a lot better. Looks a lot more aggressive. Better Blitz game.

Like we both been saying on this thread.....3rd down conversions killed us. I think the jets were like 11-18 on 3rd down conversion but the Texas were like 3-10.

Defense looked better compared to what? The Jets hung 24 and they pulled off at the end otherwise they could have put more on the board. They ran all over the Texans and the Texans made Sanchez look like a seasoned pro and I think Sanchez is overrated. Mario Williams was hardly seen same with Ryans.

Rosenfelds has more heart, he always tries to make a play and sometimes it bites him in the *** no doubt.

He doesnt have the talent compared to Schaub and I dont know if I would call it heart or being an idiot

I have never heard him blaming others.

This loss wasnt just him it was Receivers not making plays. Running backs not running and fumbling they also didnt pass block. So many times the Jets linebackers just pinned their ears back and had a free shot at the QB because the SS and CB didnt fing block. The O-line didnt block down for the running backs or do a great job in pass blocking.

We got some really high paid people, who are not producing. That is a coaching problem if you ask me. Got to have some leadership.
