Any Good Fishing Holes?

Me and my brother are looking for some good fishing holes in the houston area. We have seen a few people catching Texas Cichlids and other cool fish and we wanted to know where to go. Any help would be awesome.

hey bro, i know a couple, but its a cast net type thing... theres a creek by my work that i wanna try, its by hobby... my buddy lives on the otherside of 45 and its walkin distance from his apt... the bayous by scarsdale are good for green texas, and most of the bayous that are kinda deep(3-4ft) year round are good... when i was a kid i brought a cane pole to the bayou by my elem skool and caught greentexas and bluegills all day on worms!!! the park on eldridge and west airport have blue gills, crappie, and green texas! there is even a lil dosk to fish off of... lets plan a trip, im down!
