I haven't fished for trout in over a decade ...I'm mostly into bass fishing...but who really cares what kind of fish you fish for....as long as you get out of the house and spend some time outdoors....Thanks for the compliment, it's a very nice stick and reel.

i am not big on shimano product... but that gloomis rod is something... i've only used it once and i'll never forget that feeling... too bad i can't afford a 100+ rod atm... i'll be the first in line if your willing to let it go for half the asking price, LOL!!!
