    Rodeo

    Anyone go see Rascal Flatts last night? Or go just go to the Rodeo? I went with my mom and a few of her friends. I hadn't gone to the Rodeo since the last year they used the Astrodome which was a while ago. The Rodeo stuff that I saw was entertaining (especially the calf thingy where the high-school kids try to drag a calf back into the square to win a scholarship; I can't remember the name right now) and I liked the concert. I just wish that they could have played longer! :furious: It was only about 30 minutes then they had a minute break (during which 1/4-1/3 of the people left :confused: ) and then they played two more songs before ending. I thought that was kinda weird. Have all the concerts been this short? They felt longer when I was younger. Maybe because I was tired and wanted to leave. Speaking of which.......

    I think opening night is always a bit short. last year Tim McGraw only played about 30 minutes as well. I saw Rascal Flatts last year at the rodeo and they played until midnight almost.

      i was there last thursday nite at one of the tent... but too bad by the time i got there, all the bbq from the cookoff was gone

        I went with my family and some friends Saturday to eat some BB-Q and ride some rides.
        Fish are people too, they just have gills.

          Why is opening night short? Seems unfair to those who want to see the first band. Maybe I'll remember for the next time I go.

          That sounds like fun. I love Barbecue! I just had a BBQ sandwich last night but was really tempted to get the "Ribs by the pound" this one place was serving.

            We went to one tent, and because it was chilly out, the food was cold. :sad:
