I've got a couple real sharp pocket knifes....

I never saw any need to carry or possess a firearm until I learned about the NWO.
I'll probably try and get me a 12 guage I suppose.

I go with my high school friend from the Woodlands to a Carter's Country somewhere up there in the Spring(ish) area. I would love to go shoot with other boxers, but I've only got one gun to bring to the table.

Alexa, I want the .38 for Kim. Maybe we can all get together and she could shoot yours?

lol... that's why we bicker. We think alike.

I like the 27, but I decided that I better go with the full size to match the Beretta when shooting Lara Croft style, ya know?

I would like a Benelli shotgun, but just way too pricey to kill Zombies with, especially considering how reliable the Remington is. The M4 is just a personal preference from past use. Oh, and I would LOVE to (legally) get my hands on a Russian AK, but that's just not gonna happen, so the M1 is a more than satisfactory 7.62 alternate.

The only thing I've never given much thought is a long range rifle. I would probably lean towards something simple like a Remington 700, .308 of course.

Hey, at least when the Zombies invade I'll know who to back up against.

Prefer private ranges unless it to shoot trap. Then I want someone else to do the pulling. My friend has access to a private range near Iowa City, else I have been known to hit American Shooting (near westheimer and hwy6) and Carter's Country up in Spring.

I have not been to ASC in a while.. strangely because its the nearest range to me.

Carter's Country up on Treswhig for outdoor

I WILL NEVER SET FOOT ON ASC! THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS WITH PAPERWORK FOR THEIR CLASSIII WEAPONS BUT WILL ALLOW ANY HOOD TO ROLL THROUGH.

Oh, and a Remington 870 to hold off the impending Zombie invasion.

Unfortunately I keep spending my money on fish..
Gawd dammit man... the more you post the more I hate you more! How does two bickering minds think so alike?

I almost bought a M1 carbine a few years back.

My favorite rifle is the AR platform which I have built about 20 of.

    I carry a Glock 27 .40

Guess what rides in the trunk? Soon to be SBS Rem870

Now this here is what I call a handgun!

They should just put a stock on this thing.... or else mount it on wheels.

At 13 lbs. it might pull your pants down a little if you hang if off your belt.

    Pfeifer-Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Magnum

The world's most powerful pistol is the Austrian Pfeifer-Zeliska .600 Nitro Express Magnum.

It is chambered to fire the British developed .60 caliber rifle bullet originally made by Holland and Holland .

This revolver was not originally a full production model but a one off built especially for a wealthy Swiss gent...Mr.. Zeliska.

But if you would like one and I am sure that a few of you licensed rootin tootin gun lovers with a bit of disposable income would, then contact Pfeifer arms and they will make one for you.

Priced at 13,840 Euros'. This equates as $16,501 or £9,417 ( Exchange rate Feb 24th 2006)

The Pfeifer Revolver is also available chambered for the 458 Winchester Magnum and qualifies as the world's second most powerful handgun.

The 600 Nitro Express Magnum revolver is a Single Action, 5 shot, old west style gun.

A single action revolver is stronger in construction than a double action revolver due to the solid base frame that the cylinder sits in.

The image below shows the colossal size of the revolver in the hands of a suitably impressed gun magazine photographer!

This is not a joke. This gun really exists.

It's the absolute ultimate Magnum revolver and one that Smith & Wesson would rather you didn't know about as their market researcher would need medication !

Because of its size this revolver would need to be fired whilst resting on a bench clamp or small sand bags as shown in the image below.

The gun weighs in at 13.23lbs and consequently is heavy enough to absorb most of the violent recoil. In fact it is on the scale of firing the .50 Magnum.

The .600 Nitro Express bullet was originally developed in 1899 for the big game hunters who went to Africa with the intention of killing Elephants.

Even though H&H no longer manufacture these cartridges they can still be sought through the gun trade, small reloading companies or even over the Internet.

One company still actually make these rounds and they are Kynoch at http://www.kynochusa.com/ ($180 box of five).

The images below shows the actual size of the .600 Nitro Express round, the bullet of which can go clean through a 10mm steel plate at 12 meters like a hot knife through butter.

The case is 3 inches long and the cartridge overall length is 3.7 inches.

The bullet is actually .620 inches in diameter, and is typically 900gr, or just over 2 oz, in weight.

For comparison an M-16 bullet weighs 1/4 oz.
