Hi, My name is Mary. Joined up because I don't live too far from Houston (Lake Charles) and want to be in the loop for different aquarium stores and deals over yalls way. I'm a marine fisheries biologist and outside of work I've always loved aquariums. I've an indigenous species tank I tinker with at work and three tanks at home. I also breed crested geckos and am attempting to breed blood pythons. =]

Thanks for the welcomes guys. I know Clay from the South East Louisiana Aquarium Society, been on there a few years (used to live in MS about 20 mins from the LA line, would have to drive to Slidell to get any decent LFS) Baton Rouge has several good stores. Over my end of the state their really isnt much sans petco/mart. ONE LFS that is quite ....meh. No matter where I move its always a journey to the nearest awesome stores! D: Thanks for the map Austy! That's awesome, I've only been over that way a few times but next time I head over I'm going to be super prepared.Comment
