Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.

Wow, I am a little surprised to see that I am the only one who liked it better the old way.

I have a bookmark to the Fish Market page and when I had little-to-no time I would jump in, check it out and leave. I would browse the other forums when I had more down time. There were never too many new posts, so staying updated was easy. Now my “quick” drop in requires me to browse 4 forums. Yes, it is more organized but requires more clickies (meaning less efficient)... As long as people gave proper titles to their posts, I found the former structure more useful.

Don’t know why I am posting this after 3 pages of “this is great” replies but ahh heck, there is always one out there.

Trouble maker , there's one in every crowd

I always use the new posts or current day posts depending on whether or not i'm logged in.

Yes, that is what I do in my down time, otherwise it requires too much filtering for my short attention span when I wish to quickly check the market. A "new posts" type link for the Fish Market section would be a perfect solution. The search feature does not suffice because it requires me to do math.

Is there a way to change the time frame of the "New Post" button?

I'm not sure. I'll have to see what the query is pulling now. I assumed it got all new posts since the last time you logged in. What time frame are you interested in seeing?

There are a lot of things that the portal can do that I haven't dug into yet. Making HFB more 'personalized' is definitely something I'd like to see happen. You know? Like when you log in, you click a link and it takes you to what you want to see instead of having to dig around. Of course, there are always limits, so I'm not promising miracles...

Well i was just asking cause on other forums there's usually like a drop down box which gives you like last log in, yesterday, this week, 2wks or forever.
