I would like to nominate myself to assist --  

I would like to assist in the following area's,

Welcome area
Fish Basic
Fish market

I will be more than happy to add more to the list but I am attempting to limit myself so not to step on everyones toes..

Nominations I would like to give as not to sound like I have an ego etc...

Raul -- Rocket2002 -- level headed and will not step on other peoples toes...
Iamageekgirl and Guy -- on 24/7 and have good knowledge and takes time to explain things when needed.  Very giving people
Spot86T for her in depth knowledge and always willingness to be there... compassionate.
Armthehomeless  for the great respect for the man I have, and the capabilities to explain things down to the little details in things if need or not at all when not needed (something about being a teacher and Math does that to a person)

All the people above I have nominated have good knowledge, (I dont know if they have time... they will need to offer that up), and are not known to step on people toes or calling people out.  There are others out there I think have as great and greater knowledge, but as a moderator I believe they might allow their strong personality to show up and this is something as a reader I cannot tolerate.

I know moderating forums is a teadious job because not only do you have to read each and every post, because if you dont things will slip though and you have to be willing to read over and ask yourself to every post... is this something I can allow to be posted or should this be moved / deleted.   Not only do you have to do it on posts you like to read but you have to do it to posts that you dont like anything about and still be objective to these.

I choose the above.. because I believe they can.

OK.  My suggestions for what they are worth.

I am basing this from what I know of everyone on FishBox and in person.  Taking in account the following:

-amount of time they dedicate to the Box and to their fish

-time that they can dedicate to be a Mod

-the kind of individual that they are (All good things)

-dependable, reliable and dedicated

Many are all these things, but I suggest Jesper and Tracie.

Oh, and thanks guys for putting my name out there.  I wouldn't mind helping out more and would if asked, but I am ok if I wasn't either.   :)

We need individuals who can monitor and point out a rule when needed.  Someone who is fair and patient, but decisive when occassion requires it.  NO POWER TRIPS!

I'm more than happy to be a mod if the need is there.  Like Jesper and Raul said, I'm on ALL THE TIME.  Except for the 4-5 hours of sleep I need each night.  

And I have to agree with Jesper...I think the following people would make great Mods...

Jesper, Raul, Spot and Tim.  Very knowledgeable, level, nice (but not push-overs), and often here on the box.

Okay, guys. Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions and PMs I have gotten so far (and for the volunteers!). I plan on making the new mods "official" on Friday (tomorrow). If you have any more ideas, don't hesitate to post them!
