'Remember Me' not working

So it was working for a while, but started up as a problem again yesterday?

When it kicks you out, are you away from the computer for any amount of time, or are you actively browsing and reading threads when it logs you out?

Sorry for all the extra questions, just trying to narrow down the problem.

sorry i had to log back in again.....i have the box open in a tab, but i was posting on another forum that i moderate on...and when i came back to this one i was logged off again....but that's what it has been doing to me....i can post or browse the box and then go get some coffee and come back and i'm logged out....

okay....my in house techie did something to my computer and it seems to be working now......thanks .......

for some reason it keeps wanting to pop up a "Auto-Fill" tab and it keeps telling me I got unread PM's

Not sure if it's something my dad has in his Nazi Firewall, or if its a Window's 7 thing.

It is only doing it with PM's and nothing more

I deleted my cookies, and it didn't work. I'm using whatever the latest version of FireFox is.

Explorer 6 ??

On Internet Explorer 6.0 my "remember me" isn't working. I have to log in each time.

Upgrade to ver 8 or better yet firefox 3.5. IE6 has some real security issues.

There's got to be something still referencing the old session...

Close your browser, then reopen to a site that isn't HFB. I don't want you to have any connection to the box while doing this.

Tools > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies...
Search for houstonfishbox.com (no www)
Manually highlight all the cookies that are listed, even if they don't say houstonfishbox.com and delete them.

Close your browser, then reopen to a site that isn't HFB. I don't want you to have any connection to the box while doing this.

Tools > Options > Privacy > Show Cookies...
Search for houstonfishbox.com (no www)
Manually highlight all the cookies that are listed, even if they don't say houstonfishbox.com and delete them.

okie it looks like the third time I did it, what ever hidden or unrelenting cookie got deleted. Now mine works.
