Ok. Public apology. I'm one of the guilty parties. My intentions were never sinister. I fact, I did apologize personally to Geoff and Jesper, even though they never seemed offended. I have a certain way of making comments, that maybe to people who do not know me very well, may come off as crude, sarcastic, and abrasive. But to those who do, realise that my intentions are to bring their feelings to the surface. I like to know what makes people tick. Why do you feel as strongly as you do? We have gotten some fun discussions this way, like my Discus vs Trophs/petros thread. I've been approached similarly by those who want to know why I like the things I do. Unfortunately, seems that actions have been misinterpreted by some. So for that, I apologize.

And even if you "think" they are ok with it make sure because sometimes they may not be. Learned this from my own experience.

I do some really stupid things at time... Things that make me want to crawl into a hole... That type of learning is most painful and yet sometimes can make you want to stay in the hole when other people become mean, hurtful - even in jest, and then respond - I was only _______ (fill in the blank)

To me, the idea of respect one another as you would want yourself to be respected is always a safe way to go. Thumper of Bambi learned the rule of If you can't say something nice then don't say anything at all....

Anyway... I have always appreciated lessons learned when not being humiliated.... Lessons learned when being humiliated leave me not feeling wanted and / or encouraged.

I too been gone all weekend, and only time to time herd second hand from MB what all happened this weekend.

It takes a tremendous amount of bull**** to really offend me, because I am one of those persons that will defend what I say, because I believe in it, and I completely accept the outcomes good and bad, admit my mistakes and am not afraid to say I was wrong.

Quit being a frickin victim and take responsibility for your life.

This is maybe the one life you have, so life it happily there is no other way.
