Common Name(s) Glosso
Scientific Name Glossostigma elatinoides
Description Glossostigma elatinoides is one of the smallest aquarium plants. Glosso grows upwards if light is poor. Make sure larger plants do not overshadow it.
In order to achieve strong shoots the substrate should be nutrient rich and your tank should have lots of light. To achieve the 'carpet' effect, cut it so that you have individual stems. Each piece will look like a 'T'. using tweezers, plant each stem individually. It is tedious, but it is well worth the effort.
