i want to start a 20g chiclid tank but didnt know how many and and what kinds i should get. any advice is much appreciated.

You could start out with a small group, 3-5, of any of them and see where things go from there. Some local fish store should have some of them and I'm sure a couple on here some too. I MIGHT have some Black Occies in a month or two, it depends on if the Julies eat this batch too.So many things can be a mystery, when all we're seeking is freedom...

well for selection fish ranch at 59 and bellaire on larkwood has great south american apistos and ramirez also has kribs and things like that also houston aquarium warehouse at murphy road and 59 has some CHEAP apistos the inradinae (cant spell) and wild caught mcmasterii and the german blue ramsaltums 90 gallon
