Alexarae it sounds more like a peacock eel than a tire track. Good luck with him I have tried on two seperate occasions and they both starved because they wouldn't come out and eat just hid all day

omg, I hope he comes out. I haven't seen him eat a thing. I guess it's only a matter of time.  :(

I used to feed my eel tubliflex worms, the dried cube shaped ones.....he would eat them from my hand/fingers.

You can also stick them to the glass, by pressing them against it lightly.

no no no....you feed the eel by pressing the cube of tubliflex worms on the side of the glass next to where he or she, hangs out the most....most likely another fish will come over and pick the cube off the wall....but then, that was again....way back when......Once your eel gets to know you.....he will probably come over to you since he knows you got the goodies..... :)
