Awesome, I bet the shimmer effect looks great in a tank that size

I wasn't expecting as much of a difference as it made. I was pleasantly surprised :). The moonlights are super cool too. I didn't realize it came with those until my fish mentor told me :)

I always love moonlights on a tank, especially if you have anything that is nocturnal. So any plans on adding anything but trophs? I bet some goby cichlids would love that tank...

it's always fun to see people jumping on the LED wagon . I'm always scared how heavy and bulky those traditional tubes look. It's like a disaster in the making. LED on the other hand is energy efficient, lightweight, sleek and long lasting but mostly energy efficient.

Nope. I am not adding trophs at all. I know, I am a rebel. I am going with Large Malawi Haps. Specifically, I have 8 each of the following coming: Aristochromis christyi ''Malawi Hawk'', Cyrtocara moorii ''Blue Dolphin'', Lichnochromis acuticeps ''Malawi Gar'', and Placidochromis milomo ''VC-10'" I already added 12 Clown Loaches and 4 BN Green Plecos.

Very cool, I personally like seeing nice notices from any of the rift lakes. There are some really cool oddballs from Malawi that I occasionally see

Whenever I go chichlid shopping I go down to a place called Fishland on Westheimer. Usually has a good variety on hand, and sometimes harder to find fish. Kind of a hole in the wall, but i need to find a place closer.

Fishland is nice and the prices are good. they are the closes LFS. to me. But Houston Aquarium Warehouse, Extreme pets, and Fish Gallery have thing FL dosen't. I like to go to all of them. Its just fun.
