Thank you guys. I am not sure if its a 125, 150, or a 180 i have not seen it. I dont know where it is located but i bet it is on the living room and there will be at least 25-50 ft of walking with it.

should be ok, set up some buckets halfway in case you need to set it down to take a breather if you don't find extra hands.

Taking my 180 out of the original owners house was quite a walk and they had a fancy winding walk way so the truck was a far ways from the door.

Buckets could work, never thought of that. I'd be a bit afraid one might warp/crack and fail. Alternatively, bring a large blanket, hand it to the seller and ave him follow you, and if you need to set it down have him lay that down first and set it on that.

I'll say this: several years ago I moved from Austin to Houston and hired Aquarium Environments to move my tanks, the biggest being a 135. They took ALL of the gravel out of it and put it into large plastic containers, to 1) minimize the weight they had to carry, and 2) to minimize the stress on the tank. I recommend you do the same.

        Just my $0.02.

The owner is my brothers friend from work, he jsut moved and the tank is the only thing in the house, the buckets sound good and will try to get a good rubber maid bucket to get the plant soil. My bro says its full of grass. So i shall see on saturday what we got. I know he already gave me the co2 as he is not into plants.

My wife is a purple belt, though. More than once I've been concerned she was going to unleash a Bruce Lee kung-fu fighting kick on me, but I've been lucky so far. I know she's been tempted...

Overall she's benign, it's only when I threaten to sell the 19 year old clown loaches to rmalford that she gets agitated to the level where I get worried. Well, that and when I tell her she can't touch the beer I'm aging. That seems to tick her off.

My wife and I moved our 125g around by ourselves. Eric, Michelle does look like she could kick some butt. Keep the loaches... for now...

My son and I moved my 150 on our own. But we did use two movers flat dollies. and rolled it the 150 yards to the truck.... thank god we took out the sand and rocks. It would have killed me...
