Interesting that so many would be concerned over the welfare of 6 fish while ignoring countless cases in which thousands, even millions, of animals are tortured and, for lack of a better word, murdered, worldwide - daily, weekly, monthly, yearly.

That statistic is quoted a lot, but I don't believe it for one second, let alone 5.

Sorry Brian but my dad had gold fish in his pond over the summer and he always feed them in the same spot after he turned the light on and everyday after he turned the light on they came to the exact spot and the pond I speak of is a swimming pool very large so they have a longer memories than 5 minutes

My first fish was a fat goldfish and it would come to the front of the tank when i entered the room and swam around my hand while i was rearranging decorations. It was a very smart goldfish. So I too don't believe the whole 5sec thing :)
