Fish Compatability Issues?

In about a month I should be ready to start stocking my 45 gallon tank. I was wondering if Clown Loach would do ok around Cory cats?

My main goal is to have Guppies...would they be OK around Mollies and Red Wags?

Just to share...Wednesday I setup a 10 gallon quarantine tank, Friday I added Glow Lights and Zebras from the LFS. Saturday I had ich, Sunday I lost 4 fish and the obvious signs of ich cleared.

So...in a month I think I would rather post here for additional fish...I assume that is OK? In the buy sell trade area?

I'm not sure about the clown loach(es) with cory cats, as I've never housed the two together before. But the mollies and platies will be fine with guppies.

Even though the obvious signs of ich have cleared, ich can still be present (and probably is). In which tank are the fish with ich currently residing? Take a look at the Diseases and Disaster forum here on HFB - there is a sticky linking numerous threads concerning ich that we've had over the years. That will help you with treatment options. :)

Ich is in the 10 gallon. Removed carbon, raised temp., added salt, added malachite green, wait 3 days, partial water change, vac. bottom, and repeat. No problem. HaHa Ich on the first day...in a new setup...it has to get easier. You just have to smile.

currently I keep corys with my clown loachs and they do fine....the only little push and pokes come from the clowns and thats when they all try to go after the same foods like for ex sinking disks....with enough room and food they should work.....but the clowns would need a larger tank eventually.

OK Thanks. Hopefully it will be a couple of years before I need a bigger tank.
