I was afraid to break the dang thing...but I had been fiddlin with it all day with NO results....figured if I shook it up, I might hear if there was anything loose...I just kinda got pissed and shook it a little harder...and the Viola! it comes on...go figure, guess its a S&M light)

lilmissruffcountry does that fixture have one the external starters on it if so it could be loose in the base if not you could bring it to one of our next functions and i can look at it been an electrician since "85" so i know a little something ....lol....

I THOUGHT that was you! We were actually talking about you when we were almost finished cleaning up later - we deduced that it had to be you because the coconuts were there, you brought your wife, and had a daughter who looked suspiciously like a 2-year-old.
