  • a silver scat for my tank??

i was thinking about getting a silver scat for my 29. so far mono and archer that are quite small. it says that scats are quite agressive and have venomous spine. i didnt want to get it if it means that i will be losing my archer or mono. i wanted the scat because they clean up the tank and look interesting. lol more info this fish please guys? thanks

What kind of archer do you have in there now?

Monos and archers can be quite large when they're full grown. A 29 might not be big enough for just the two you have now.

Banded Archer, Toxotes jaculatrix..they usually get about 6" full grown i think it will do fine in my tank by that time. the mono fish gets about 9-10", have if it is too big..id give it away or something. i was also debating on getting a needle fish but i needa do more research on that.
