From the sound of it, only MY fish enjoy the Seachem canned fly larvae and mealworms. My puffers, archers, climbing perch, spiny eels, and bichirs LOVE them!

Well, then if Muuunkeeyy isn't interested, they're yours! I tried them with Datnoids, 4 kinds of puffers, African cichlids....I think the gobies liked them, but I have too much to only feed to them.

pm'd. should i get another mono? 2monos and an archer in a 10 gallon, kinda packed? or will it be better for the mono since they follow in groups.

You will need to get a bigger tank already in the near future.. Both fish require a bigger place to live.
The mono and archer are fish that likes to live around their own kind for one, but the second part is the mono does grow up in size and is going to look for something like a 58/68 tank later in life. They need the room

i may be just seeing things, but did you say you have created a brackish tank environment using "aquarium salt"?.....if that's the case then you really should read up on brackish tank setups...you need "marine salt" for a brackish environment.....
if that's what your using then forgive me for seeing out of old eyes.....)

marine salt brings your ph up and stuff and people say aquarium salt is fine because it wont make your ph jump. i just need to get a hydrometer soon, i keep forgetting.

+1, aquarium salt is not going to do jack for turning your tank brackish, only 'marine salt' can do that.
the ph increase is also something that comes with making a tank brackish, it just happens.

i'm not sure who/whom the "people say" are...but they are wrong....you have to have marine salt in order to be brackish.....
aquarium salt conditions the water nicely for some fish but it won't make it brackish i'm sorry to say.....

this is a quote from the salt water expert here that has puffers

Just make sure it's sea salt or marine salt, NOT aquarium salt. There is a difference.
There are several brands available. I use instant ocean, that's my preference.

i think ima hop on some instant ocean tomorrow or so. all the LFS ive been to, they said aquarium salt should be fine as long as specific gravity is correct. i needa get a hydrometer and instant ocean or something tomorrow.

i was wondering since i already put like half a handful of aquarium salt in there, how would i add the marine salt into the tank without disturbing anything?
