Was going for a south american geophagus setup. Includes 30 lemon tetras, tapajo, heckelli, surinemasis, corys, and loaches. South american biotope aquarium: http://youtu.be/JIPs80f5IH8
No not really. My own Tapajo's never got a long with my surin.'s. But that doesn't mean that your wont. Cory's like bigger groups. Tapajo's will grow to be a big group. The lemon tetras are cool. I just think it needs more at the top. Just a thought.
Ya think the top looks empty because I have alot of surface agitation and they get blown around up there. Currently I have 6 tapajo, 7 heckelli, 1 female suri, 1 male steindechari, least 20 corys, 4 loaches, 30 lemon tetras, and 20 Buenos Aires tetras. I'm pretty much at full capacity.
Maybe some Hatchetfish? A school of silvers or platinums would fill in the top perfectly and they love strong currents. Might have to thin some of the others, but its an option. Always liked my hatchet schools.
