Sexing Bolivian Rams

I beleave you are right. The belly area will be reddish or pinkish in females.

I'm planning on doing 4 male and 4 females in my 125 tank. That should be ok shouldn't it?

They should be. Thats a big tank for 8 little fish. Watch what you add to the tank. I have had Bolivians pick on my blues and kill them. I have heard others who never had a prob. but I have.

Ended up getting 2 male and 4 female GBRs and 1 female Bolivian. The Bolivian was missing one of her eyes so I felt like I had to rescue her.
