help identify an eartheater?

  • help identify an eartheater?

    have these fish labeled as earth-eaters, but under that the species is "satanoperca jurupari", and when i look those up they look nothing like the fish i have! now they are spawning, here is a female with eggs...IMG_20120511_123757.jpg
    my fish house:
    2.5g- ramshorn hatchery
    6g eclipse- yellow shrimp, chili rasboras, yellow apple snails
    29g- geo grow-out, angels, 12"fire eel, dwarf frog, apple snails
    45g- jade sleeper gobies, native killifish, feeder endlers

    75g-
    2 oscars, parrot, silver dollars, albino channel cat, syno euptera, bichir, baby jaguar, convicts, yabby
    125g- fahaka puffer, rainbow shark
    and about a dozen bettas....

        shes about 4 inches, the male is 5, and ive been caring for them over a year now, that plus the spawn i dont think they are "juvie" anymore... theyre priced at 21.99$ and ive definatley got a pair, i would love to find them a good home. right now they live with a bunch of baby (2inch) oscars.

            these fish are for sale at petco in sugarland, 21.99 each. not really mine... if you want them come get them! i'll be there this weekend.

                            while i wasnt there someone sold the female! the male is now alone with his fry (i moved the baby oscars) and the tank marked NFS. im so excited! anybody want babies? when they're big enough...
