  • Up dates on Red Festae

Ok for those of you how have been fallowing the saga of us getting some red terrors we lost the one with Pop eye. We finally had to kill it, it was past time. The other one is doing great and has been moved to a 150g. The big 9" very sick big boy we rescued from a L/F/S has made a full recovery and the smaller female and him have become rather fond of each other now that we have moved them from the cramped 55g to the 150g. Big Red 1.jpgphoto2.jpg after and before shots. Hand to the fish gods, that is the same fish. We have also acquired another 10 Festae fry around 2". We have had the fry for about 2 or 3 week and they have settled in nicely into their very own 55g. We are trying something new and the 150g has been turned into our SA tank. We have both of the Red Festae, two Green Terrors, a Jaguar, and a breading group of 5 Venustus. Yes we know they are not SAs but they are too aggressive to be put in any other tank we have at the moment and are doing just fine. We are on day 3 and with each passing day the fish become more accustom to their new tank mates. More photos and videos will come soon.
Bad seed is a robbery of the worst kind: for your pocket-book not only suffers by it, but your preparations are lost and a season passes away unimproved.
