                    Try cichlids of the americas.
What size tank is he planing on using?
Does he want to have somewhat of a community?
Let me know and ill add my suggestions.

I got some fish. Listed in the signature. I'd like to get some more when I get a bigger tank. Any aggro/semi-aggro fish is fine. Any other sites or LFS you know of that sell them?

We picked up some of the WC Festae fry from Xtreme Fish almost a month ago and they are looking great. He said that he gets them in every few months. Also Tran over at Fish ranch has some Black Belts, some awesome Jacks that we picked up today, along with some small electric blue Jacks that we picked up as well. If he is looking for a pair of green terrors we have a pair that is about to go up for sale.

Be careful about posting "w/c" natives and selling them.

I didn't catch them myself... lol. they were given to me, I had them for almost a year, then they paired off and became too much for even their 6ft tank. thanks for the warning!
