Thanks for the comments ya'll! I actually got these from Fondren fish n pets about 10 Months ago. They were about 2.5 " when i got them. and now they are over a foot. They were not all nearly as nice as these. I had to buy about 10 and grow them out, i ended up just keeping the best 2, the other 8 were very drab/brown. I went thru the "INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING" task of converting them to pellets when they were just 3", have never used feeders (not intentionaly anyway)...so they were raised on Massivoire pellets and cut shrimp/tilapia.... and a couple tankmates along the way! R.I.P. Mr. Bicher.Last edited by Ceejay; 09-17-2010, 11:07 AM.

For myself, i like to broil or grill it with a little butter, garlic, and lemon. as for the fish....considering they don't have ovens underwater, i just cut thawed raw chunks and throw em in. I've heard of people feeding their fish cooked food, but.......Originally posted by amilcar View Postdude how do you prepare the tilapia....boiled,raw,fried
