  • had to put down on of my flowerhorn

    he was a beautiful fish, nice pearl, great color, and nice hump/kok he devoloped hith before i moved, and now he has fungus on him... his lips are torn... i got him from frontrex... he in a better place now.

    now thanks to kenniebird, i got 2 pearly fh juvies, bout 3-4 inches, a baby 1 incher, and5 parrots in the tank... 49 gallon i think with 2 ac110's

    I'm so sorry.

    Did you try treating it first? Or was it just too bad?

        it was wierd, first all my carpintis went, i blame my self and my busy schedule alot... the flowerhorn just took it real bad... anyways, countless water changes and maintenance on my 2 ac110's im back in shape, with a bunch of blood parrots... now, think im safe adding new fish to the tank?

          sorry to hear man. run some tests on your water and take it slow. If your tank is having cycle problems i have LOADSSSS of cycled media and i can spare you some.

            water good, i was wondering if some kind of bacterial/virus and fungus combo would be still present in the tank... current residents are a okay

              There is ALWAYS fungus and bacteria present. Fish get sick when their immunity is reduced for some reason. Stress is usually the culpret. I'd say you're okay.

                maybe use some salt for a while if youre worried? thats what i would do
