Beef Heart if you want to give it to your fish should ONLY be feed to American Fish, almost any other kind can make them sick. American's for the most part can handle the higher amount of fat content that is located in Beef Heart.

You can always use some sort of non-egg product to stick it all together on the pan. I m sure you already have a substitute for egg products.
