I'm thinking of keeping it with a bottom feeder to keep the tank "cleaner"
I got mine 10 years ago at Fish Ranch 2. He was marble sized then and was only $10.00.Originally posted by h0nkzz View PostI got mine for $40+ @3"

I have one lonely guppy in Annabelle's tank. For some reason she has never killed it. It's been in there since I've gotten her. You can try to keep bottom feeders but be prepared to loose them at some point. I only know of a few people that have kept other fish with their fahaka. But they was in the tank before the fahaka was. If they try to add new fish the fahaka kills the new fish but leaves the other fish alone. It depends on their temperment.Originally posted by h0nkzz View PostHas anyone sucessfully kept a Fahaka with any other fish ?

most fahaka would try to wipe out everything that moves in the tank..
totally different character than most of the mbu..

maybe it is still young...or maybe the brevis is too fast for him now?Originally posted by h0nkzz View PostI have 3 adult brevis in the tank with him, but he seems to leave them alone for now.
I feed him live ghost shrimp
it's fun watching him hunt.
fahaka grows fast...i feed my mbu ghost shrimp sometimes, it is fun...
but wait until it gets better, and try to feed it live crabs or crawfish...thats more fun to watch...take the claws off tho..
