I went by Gallery today and talked with Don. Good news the puffer did not go up in flames at Matris Mack's. It was another person that bought the fish, he would like the second one too. I heard that if you come in and lay $2000 in greenback's on the counter, the puffer can be yours. What a deal.

Yeah, but this one is still young so it doesn't look like that yet. According to Don it won't get that pretty color until it's older. If I remember correctly at Gallery they were brown

What you do is tell them I will buy the matress if you can throw in that cheap little puffer in the tank over there.. its so cute but I will not buy the mattress without it.. then return the mattress, unless you really need one of those too :)

I wonder if they are going to put it in the store or at their home.) I might have to go shopping for a mattress if they do, with a bucket.

LOL, after I took a nap I remembered the name, but thankfully Tim remembered first! Cross River was it. They were both cute. My understanding is that Mattress Mack's wife is the person who bought one.

Its just a small road trip and the longest sweet talking your hubby into allowing you to buy it :)

I have heard too many times that a cross river puffer has turned out to be a fahaka puffer. It's very very rare to get one that never turns it's spots to stripes. I wouldn't do that to the hubby. Besides I have to go the other way this weekend. I have a nephew graduating in Louisiana. If it's a true Cross River they won't last long. It would be so awesome to see some pictures or video hint hint!
