new planted tank

I am setting up a semi planted tank and I was wondering what substrate I can use.

I typically use the AGA or whatever it's called that Dan sells me but I don't have time to go all the way down there....so, what else can I use that will be easy to maintain?

Any and all help is appreciated.

i swear by aquariumplants.com's stuff u would have to wait for it to come in put its awesome and a hell of alot cheaper than anyone else sells any kind of planted substrate for i bought a 4" beds worth for my 140 for right at 120

I just tore down a tank that had the aquariumplants.com substrate in it. About all of it that came in a 5g bucket. You can have it if you want... and I only live in Kemah
