IMHO the tank doesn't look so great anymore. Everything is covered with algae. Too much of light or fertilizer. It started as a nice tank but now the algae took over and it it doesn't look so pretty. Obviously it is just my personal/unique opinion.
Add some brushynose plecos and SAE's or drop an Apple snail (I'm sorry Mystery Snail) in the tank for a while.
What are you using to fertilize with? A tank that was doing this well should only need mineral supplements. I was worried when I noticed you last pic had such a good growth of algae on the rocks. When you want algae you can't get the stuff to grow when you don't it grows out of the tank. Good Luck!

I have been battling the algae problem. There is no ferts in there I stopped soon after starting the tank due to the algea. I have 2 bushy noses in there. 4 O-cats, about 5 olive nerites, and just added about 30+ RCS. I have the lights on a timer to shut off during mid day to try to reduce the light in there and I am begging 3 times a week water changes in an effort to stop the growth.
So two of my O-cats committed suicide. They decided to swim up the tube of my filter going up the out pipe and all the way down to right about the pump. I guess the couldnt turn around and got stuck and died. I was wondering where they went to I did a water change trimmed my tears down a lot and couldnt find them and since yesterday my pump was making a weird sound. So I decided to take it apart to figure out what was going on as soon as I get to taking of the tubes I spot two black things that look like fish and sure enough. My BN pleco tried this but there is a pvc that takes the tube and changes the diameter so they probably stopped and turned around. RIP O-cats.
I wanted to thank Luis for his help this weekend. I ran into Luis at Dans over the weekend and told him about my problem of the algae bloom that I could not get to go away. He suggest just simply using the excel. Well I started that when I got home on Sunday and today I got home from work and the tank is almost perfectly clear maybe a couple more treatments and it will be gone at this rate.
I wanted to note that I figured out my lack of air problem. The lily pipe I was running was to large and the flow from the canister was decreasing as it came out the outflow. I bought a smaller pipe and I have been going on 3 days with no air stone running at night and all of my fish are still alive.
