  • New plants tips N' tricks for cultivation...?

I just got a couple of new plants in that I would like to cultivate
for maybe some nice new carpets or something. One plant is Fissidens splachnobryoides
and the other is Fissidens fontanus. Both of which I have never grown and have
know idea what methods for successful cultivation. Any help or ideas would rock.

Some GOOG imgs I found online of these plants

The one and only most important thing you will have to watch with Fissiden in general is the temperature. They like cooler temperatures between 72-78°F. A good amount of water flow will help them too.
I have not tried Fissidens splachnobryoides, but have read a lot about it on various forums where people bought it from Aquatic Magic just to find out that it does not grow immersed but does well in emersed conditions.

Indeed! I saw it on a aquascaping tank site and fig I'd try and see.
Made a carpet so much nicer than a HC carpet.
