I fully agree with Tim. In order to use the metal halide fixture it would need to be suspended well above the water's surface. Also, that fixture is almost 700 watts. Like a lot, lot, lot of light. For a 200+ gal tank it would be ok to use. Smaller tanks, 125 gal and less, would wind up with severe algae issues I think. Besides, the pc lamps are way up into the blue end of the spectrum, and not the best for plants, IMO. The 10,000K MH are also bluer than needed, but some folks like them for plants.
The pc fixture is listed as reef lighting and may come with actinic lamps. You'd still have to change the lamps out, IMO. Aqua Zoo has some of those fixtues. They may stock the 6700K lamps for them.
