Yep, Sorry i couldnt remember your screename. The Apistos look great. How big are your breeders?

I'll get a full tank shot soon, the canisters arrived last night so i set those up. The swords are growing noticeably. Not as fast as the crypts, wisteria and ludwigia. Mzungu i dont know what plants are in there altogether. I seen a plant i liked and bought it, or was traded it. I have the mini swords? you gave me, it doesnt seem to have grown at all :( I also have some Anubis but it refuses to attach to driftwood and has gotten greenspot algae growing on some of the older leaves. I think i need to trim the old leaves off.

So what do i need for pressurized CO2? Can i get away with a bare CO2 tank and airline/diffuser? Do i need a regulator?

Yup. Definitely. As for what kind, it all depends on how much you are willing to spend.

Heh...uh...Wow. That's a question.

If you want just a regular ol' regulator, you can get one for under $100. I think I've seen some on ebay for about $70. If you want a NICE regular ol' regulator, you'll probably pay a little over $100.

Then we get to the regs with solenoids and other extras like pH controllers, etc. And for those, I don't even know the range, because it's out of mine.  

If you can find a used tank and regulator, JUMP ON IT. They go really quickly in this hobby.  8)

I dont have any right now, but i'll take some tonight for you. Hes cool and id definitely recommend you get one. I bought a second one last weekend.

Hes grown about 2" since January and could still live in a 55/75 but i know i'd eventually have to upgrade. A good deal came along so i bought it.

Its a little bit of a drive for you, but your welcome to come check him out. I dont know if anyone else on here has one and lives closer?

To answer your question: I think my female is about 2 inches and my male is about 3 inches. Just guessing. :P

Thats cool to know, im guessing i have 5 males and 5 females? The males are around 1.25", the females around .75".

Heres some pictures of the fahakas. Frank ate earlier and so hes taking a rest. I couldnt get him to move for the photos so i only took a couple. The baby is about 2". Not exactly a baby, but oh well...

The tank is the 140. The flash makes the stand look weird in places, but its not. Its only been setup for a week and i dont have the wetdry set up yet.

Looks good Chris. Like Mzungu said, just cut the tops off of the Ludwigia and replant for a fuller look. I have got some Rotala Indica I can give you if you would like, it gets a pinkish top on it for some more color. I had green spot algae (GSA) and found by dosing Excel it got rid of it within a week or two. As far as co2, don't skimp in this area, it will cost you in the long run. Check out Rex Griggs regulators, everyone seems to be happy with them.
