Thanks for compliments.
Dont water test. Never have. I kept a Reef from 1991 to 2005. Never tested its water either. It was Sps and clam dominated tank when sold. Only watched temp and Ph. And on freshwater i am only watching temp and Ph. I try to change about 120 gallons of the 150 gallon capicity about every 7 to 10 days. May sometimes make it to 14 days. But wholesale water changes make testing water params difficult.
Did a lot of water changes with saltwater too.
And the leaves on sword are rust red in color when first coming out of central stalk. Could be melon, could be other. I purchased Two plants from petco for 4.50 each. They were 4 inches tall. Now about 36 inches, with 6 foot bloom stalks. And plantletts that grow submersed if stalk is bent down in the water, or they will grow outside of water if stalk hangs over side of aqaurium. Its wonderful that it grows well, but can at times be a nuisance.
Thanks again
