Anyone have any experiance with UG (Utricularia graminifolia ) in a shrimp tank? I have heard mixed reveiws as its a bladderwort and carnivorous. Just wondering? I really love the look of it and have heard its great in an emmersed setup and transitioned...

Its a complicated question, Co2 can be very tricky. There are some folks that swear by it and others that do not, its a matter of opinion. It can be done in shrimp tanks. Without high lighting it is not very efective

Pro's - Good compact growth, can lower Ph.

Con's - Can cause Ph swings if not maintained and monitored correctly, requires a lot of extra equipment and understanding of what is occuring. Requires High Lighting and a very dilligent photoperiod with filtration that works in unison
