  • steel mesh wall alternative?

even though this is galvanized steel...will it still work to use as a steel mesh to make a moss wall with?

No, you shouldn't use galvanized cause the coating could break down and wreak havoc

Try a building supply store that sells expanded metal for use as stucco lathe. They make it in SS.

I would just go to hobby lobby and buy two of them larger plastic yarn mesh and put the moss in between. I believe their like 1.50 each and use fish line to tie them together so it would look a lot cleaner.

Bao found the larger mesh cross stitching grids which would work out better than the normal size ones.

Some like the look, also provides sanctuary for the shrimp to graze on.

I've found that my pygmy sunfish hide along it.
