  • splitting paintball co2 setup....no pressure in line?

so i got a paintball co2 setup. decided to split it using this

GLA is a leading planted aquarium brand specializing in aquarium CO2 systems, aquarium plant fertilizer and live freshwater plants. Start your planted tank with our made in USA and lifetime warranty bespoke collections.

but co2 is only going to one tank and not the other.

    what should i check for?

    tank 1 - only $(KGrHqMOKi0E5fYwfOT6BOion1V,gg~~60_12.JPG

tank 2 - $(KGrHqQOKnEE4LlN,)Q!BOHZ+3eFm!~~_12.JPG and this one has no co2 coming out of it.

i put the spitter into the tank to see if any leaks and nothing.

turned the needle valve to let more gas out but still nothing on tank 2.

what else should i check for?

    thanks!

The co2 is going through the path of least resistance, you need to get a manifold with individual needlevalves to properly supply multiple tanks.

For the time being you could get away with shortening the tubing for the tank not getting co2 and raising the diffuser up higher in the tank so there's less water pressure on the ceramic disc if that's what you are using.

yeh i dont want to spend more $ on the manifold since what i have is doing its job now.

i have the ceramic disc on tank 1 and those knock off atomic diffuser in the other that is sittng 3/4 way down the tank.

what store sells the polyurathane co2 tubing???

Are the tubes after the split the same length?

no. tank 1 length is like 10" tank 2 is like almost 2'...

im just gonna have to rearrange the filter and have the paintball tank n the middle of the tank to and be able to run equal lengths...hopefully that "solve" the problem.

i need to get custom stands!!!!

Dont have to do all that work. Put a small ball valve on the shorter tube. They sell tiny ball valves for airline tubing. This worked for me.

Avoid the cheap blue ones. Go for the better black ones.

                Sooo

Made both hoses the same length

                Add ball valve as well

                Still nothing...

What happens when you tighten the ball valve? Which side did you put it on?

This worked for me when I had to split my air pump to support multiple tumblers.

I opened up the double check valve bubble counter and the siphon thing inside was reversed so it was stopping the co2 flow!!! Guess that's what I get for getting "made in china" junk lol!

So I got the co2 flowing but it's inconsistent. So im just gonna put off co2 on this tank and just keep it the way I had it.
