i have never had an oto jump but when my tetras and shrimp bump into each other they both go the opposite way really quickly

If you change light fixtures at some point, you may also want to stick with bulbs in the 6k to 6.7k range. 10k seems blueish to me so it may not be as good. i sometimes use them in multiple bulb fixtures to offset the red from the plant bulbs and get the light back to a more pure looking white though

Yeh this unit was used so when it goes out I was gonna get a bulb in that color range. The inside coating is like
Flaking already so it's almost time!
