Wow!! I had no idea you had planted tanks! The 72g is beautiful!

Can you take a FTS of the 10g?

(You just recently added "planted tank" to your signature, right? Or am I losing my mind? )

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

haha MB, I loved discus before and felt in love with tropheus recently. but my gf is a planted tank lover. We have had the 72g bow front for about 2 yrs, before that we had a 20H, then upgraded to 55 and then to the 72g bow front. my cardinal tetra and green neon are about 5 yrs old, i bought them 3 yrs ago when they were around 2 yr old at my friend house, they're around 1.5" now.
I had cherry shrimp in my 72g before, but the angels kept eating them, so i thought i would have to set up another tank for just the shrimp. thus, i set up he 10g about 2 weeks ago, put assasin snails and cherry shrimps in about a week ago, and they seem like they love that tank: i got baby asssasin snails, and baby shrimps just less than a week. i did not expect it that quick..
for the 72g, we put discus (adult size) in there before, but they did not do so good in there ( i messed up with CO2 and discus could not compete with other fish for food, and became so thin), so i removed them all and replaced with angels.

                          That's awesome! I guess they're both happy!

Might want to occasionally dose the 10g with calcium, if possible. I've found that snail shells erode quickly with AquaSoil, and whenever I dose my shrimp tank with calcium I notice an almost immediate influx of babies, it seems. :)

yes, they are assasin snails. i bought them to kill the trumpet snails in my 72g. they bred for me and now i have plenty of them.
