What species plant is it? What are the conditions in your tank? Lighting wpg, water temp, etc.

The tank it self seems very stable. Fish are fine.
        all other plants look fine.
The species idk. Im gonna take a pic and post it asap. 74 F on the temp.

Yup, it really depends on what species. Is it a new plant to the tank?

How often are you dosing? If youre doing DIY CO2 you might want to cut back on the Excel.

Could you describe the problem in a little more detail? Or, better yet, provide us with some pictures? There could be any number of causes, and without knowing the real problem, we can't help with finding a solution. :)

My leaves on this one plant are have patches. clear on some parts.
on my Ozelot swords i have some burned edges.

so i just pruned those messed up leaves.
the rest of the tank is flourishing with lil algae

are the patches and edges yellowing any? Sorry to keep beating this drum, but pics could help a lot. Even a bad camera phone pic.

                              For the sword,
                              1. Increase the iron
                              2. Looks like emergent leaves also dying off.
