    Make them stop!!! - guppies everywhere :-)

    We set up a 10 gallon tank for my 6-yr old with some very nice Tequila Sunrise and Delta tail guppies.  And now, you guessed it, we've got babies everywhere.  I may just set up a separate tank for the males for some time out - those bad boys!  We currently have 4 babies that are 5/8" and coloring up nicely and now about 10 more with one of the females due any day (and she's huge!).  

    If anyone's interested, PM me.  Babies are free to good home!

    BTW, I'm in NW Houston, near Willowbrook Mall (north by about 3 miles).

    Cool!

    I'm still waiting for mine to pop out some babies, I got mine for my fiancee and I think you would be pretty excited when the time comes.

      Heaven help me, but I'm thinking about getting some guppies to supply live feeders for my angels.  I just don't like the looks of the feeder guppy tanks I see in the stores.  They [s:7688a03993]can be[/s:7688a03993] are prolific little fishies.  But, that will mean more tanks I don't have room for.  My Dad raised guppies but I've always been more of cichlid person myself.

        Convicts produce more fry, mine are on its second batch

          I've got another yellow lab holding and I simply don't have the room for any more fry.  I was going to just let her spit into the main african tank this time, but maybe I'll strip the fry and give them to the angels as a present.  I tried to put a cull yellow lab in the main african tank months ago and the little stinker is still swimming around  :aua:.

              You know, I've been considering getting an Oscar so when my angels start breeding and then I have to start culling, I'll have a quick and easy way to do it... That and I just think Oscars are so cute and I've never had one before.

                Well, Liane, I'm in the same situation! Sorry I can't take any of yours, but I too am up to my ears in guppies! The only problem is that they're feeders, not the fancy ones. But, I wish I could, Tequila Sunrise guppies are really pretty.

                  Thought I'd let everyone know that I had a list member contact me and he came last night and took all the babies.  Now we're just waiting for one of the mommas to have hers any day now.  She's getting absolutely huge!!

                  I'll have more in a month or so.  Nice healthy, Houston-water raised guppies.
