A bigtime sword breeder on the east coast, the original pair cost me $100 + shipping. Some kinds like them are bad baby eaters or have fertility problems. These leave thier babies alone, and are very fertile, but dont have very large drops of fry. Fry are few, but good sized for swords.

Some of the best fish are not cheap. This is also a strain that breeds 100% true. No color wash, or solids. I know there are some people on here that pay a lot more then $100 for ONE fish..so $100 for a pair, that dropped fry within a week of me getting them was just fine with me.

Ya as long as they are not steral. There are a lot of them out there that are cheap for a good reason, non-breeders, not true breeders, or crop outs.
