With all the filters you have I thought by now you would have him swimming upstream against the current.
Thats one of the reasons I use oversize HOB filters on my grow out tanks.
now you need to trim his fins with a razor blade so they grow back with tough scar tissue.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

Next time call me up when you want a betta fight.  If you win you could take all my betta.  But if you loose, I would like to flush you like you did with your betta.

It's not just a fighting arena.  It's the revenge of the betta fish.

Since when does a HOB considered oversized?

I have 2 bettas.  If I lose, you could have them all.  That's win, win situation.  I believed my bettas are giant plakats.  Plakats are known for speed, strength, and endurance.  I don't think your old and unfit betta can survive the first round.

I have kept giant plakats before and even tried breeding them.... they are not "fast" as you would think and if you bought it from petco then I have already won.

It's depend on how you pick your bettas for the fancy showing or for the fight.  Not all giants are slow.  There are certain characteristic of a fighters you should know in a bettas.  So, just pick the time and place.
