You could add some zebra danios or giant danios being you upgraded to a larger tank he will never catch either one they are both way to fast for him. Also the giant danios get way too big for him to eat. Part of the problem with the Black Phantoms was the fact that they were in a very small tank with him. I will more then bet if you added some in the 29 gal they would be fine. He would not eat them this time. I have kept paradise fish before in a 29 gal with neon tetras and never had an issue with him eating them. Just keep him fed well and you should be fine. Blood worms and Brine from time to time in addition to flake food and the standard aquarium fare will be a good diet for him..

    Hope this info. is helpful..

i blame it on my kid, but to be honest it makes good territorial dividers for the rams... lots of caves. i even bought a coconut at the grocery and used the shell. besides, just look at the avatar, i love spongebob!

well, the paradise fish eventually had to be separated, and has been living in his own 2.5g rectangle tank for months now. i went to feed him today, and noticed that he was no longer IN his tank. either that or he had turned invisible. i looked everywhere, and this is what i found behind the shelf his tank was on.
